Fire Safety Engineer

You will work across a range of project types, contribute directly to technical delivery, and build toward a position of increasing ownership. In this role, you will develop fire strategies, review and mark up technical information, attend design team meetings, respond to technical email queries, and carry out drawing checks. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to make sure fire engineering input is clear, practical, and aligned with project needs. The work spans multiple sectors, so you should be comfortable adapting your approach to different building types, project stages, and coordination challenges. Success in the first 90 days means you are able to operate with a high level of independence within the business unit. You will be producing solid technical work with limited supervision, managing day-to-day communication confidently, and contributing to project delivery in a way that supports commercial performance. A strong start in this role means combining technical quality, reliability, and sound judgement to create value well above your cost. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience as a fire engineer and exposure to more than one sector. You should be confident producing fire strategies, reviewing drawings, identifying issues, and communicating technical points clearly in writing and in meetings. Native-level English is required for clear technical communication. You will likely do well here if you are organised, commercially aware, and comfortable taking ownership of your work. Experience leading a team or helping develop new templates, tools, or service offerings would be useful, but it is not essential. This role is not a fire risk assessor position, not a firefighter role, and not a general engineering opening outside fire engineering. The focus is specifically on fire engineering design and technical project delivery. What we offer includes a salary of 55,000 euro per year before tax, meal tickets equivalent to 200 euro per month, and a hybrid setup with 3 days in the office.
